Working closely with the local neighbourhood and Town of Markham staff, a series of public meetings were undertaken to define the neighbourhood vision for the park and accommodate the recreational needs of the larger community. A comprehensive Master plan followed by site implementation which, resulted in a multiuse park having both an active component of baseball and soccer and an extensive naturalized area and trail system for walking and enjoying nature.
