As a Wellness and Vitality Residence, the landscape treatment was developed to provide useable outdoor amenity space for more than 200 retirement residences. Fronting a bustling Newmarket street the fencing, landscape walls, and plantings including flowering trees, shrubs and perennials contribute to the urban streetscape while sheltering the internal landscape. Site considerations include adjacent conservation lands dictating the use of native meadow plantings and more formal internal site planting both of which provide colour and interest all year.
